Some people think that the entire U.S. space program and the race against the Soviet Union was a hoax and that ten years of research and developement by NASA and the United States culminated in a scam: they claim the landing of Apollo 11 was all filmed in top secret in Area 51 in the Nevada desert. Although several polls taken show only 6% of of Americans believe no American ever set foot on the moon, I find the notion ridiculous. Hoax-believers cite reasons ranging from claims that the American flag can't wave on the moon to strange reflections on the helmets of astronauts. All of these claims can easily be disproved logically.

So what I'm wondering is do any of you guys out there believe in this? And if you do, could you support your argument logically? Because I bet you can't.

You probably don`t believe in Bigfoot either. Well I know from a reliable source, my cousin`s aunt`s sister`s third cousin on her mother`s sides third husband`s dog had some Bigfoot hair stuck in it`s teeth. If I could get close enough to the DNA research lab, I could PROVE Bigfoot lives. Damn restaining orders.

heh theres also the part where the lighting throws the whole thing off, and the pictures look doctored. i preferred not to choose a side until i see some real proof of anything happening. i mean, whats next, aliens pop out of the ground who have been there for billions of years just studying us? [war of the worlds was aiite i guess.]haha.

Area 51 was no mroe than an Air Force Base out in Nevada that we didn't want the Sovit Union (as well as China) to know about. The idea was a stealth base where we could work on newer forms of aircraft that had technology we did not want to "share" and then unleash if war were brewing. And since the aircraft were unknown to the public, a bombing by one of the craft would confuse the victum since they would have no idea who was bombing them. Kinda getting my drift? Even the U2 idea was started there acording to the Sci-Fi Channel.

Now, as for the lunar landings... While we we're stuck in that Space Race with Russia and while we were VERY competative at the time (and may I say jealous since they made it to space first and had technology 10 years ahead of us?), I don't think we faked it, and I don't dare go up to Armstrong and tell him he's a phoney, because just imagine what it must feel like to do something that nobody else has done at the time and to then be told you've never done it.

off-topic so.. i'll say this.. its the damn bushes (george sr. and Jr. that set this up) they made the fake moon landing

or that the alien has use some mind trick on us and fool everyone that we did land on the moon
